The pipe is removable and a good tight frictin fit will be fine. Looking at the rearmost section of the plenum where the vacuum pipe is for the fuel pressure regulator hose connection is on mine, a suitable tube regardless of the flaring would do fine.
In fact, why not fit a new pipe and angle it at 90° rotated in the direction of the dizzy. No chance of kink in the vacuum hose then.
Or an old bicycle valve with the end cut off gives a nice small tube

I agree on the tap bit - hence my suggestion of the old style bicycle valve
That way you get a threaded portion and a bit to push the pipe on - even has a "kink" if you want to lock wire the tube in place
