I think that's the thread 1/4 UNC not the spanner size your need.katanaman wrote:I cant remember as I always change them for allen cap screws but it definitely wont be metric. If 8mm is loose then it will be 1/4.
5/16 would be right as that the closest to 8mm.
as other have said I always fit stainless cap heads.
