hiya all,
So anyone know what involved in a block pressure test.
All i know is is done hot...
And how much do they normally charge for it.
Thinking its best to get it done before i decide whether is top hats or not.
cheers

If you need top hats surley it is going to fail a pressure test as the casting will have cracked to let the liner drop?
Either way you bung up all the water outlets from the block bar one, nice thick plate across where the heads go to seal up the waterways that would otherwise feed the heads. Fill the block with hot water and get ALL the air out cap the last hole with a pump and pressure gauge and apply some pressure (4 bar or so). Sit and wait and see where it leaks.
