Traction Control / Launch Control

Post by kev_the_mole »

Anybody using this with aftermarket ECU ie Megasquirt, Emerald, VEMS etc. Motec do one but would need new mortgage. Racelogic do a module that allegedly works with any ECU but can anybody verify this.

I'm just getting worried that with the new engine I might need some electronic assistance keeping the bloody thing on the road

Cheers,

Ian

My DTA has both.

regardless of ecu brand, setting it up to make the most of it, would take a very long time.

But it can work to assist safety relatively easily

The racelogic box is very very good, but a little pricey. Launch control is pretty easy to setup, as is flatshift, but useful traction control is a lot more difficult.
