Anyone identify this???

Gents good morning, Im looking to replace the item ringed on the attached photo, it appears to be an elbow and it stops the filter getting smashed by my front prop, I inhereted this engine and have no way of knowing where it came from, all help appreciated!

well it seems Im so thick I cant even upload a photo! never mind rectify simple filter housing problems!

You need the full address to the image between those IMG tags in yr first post, the http: whatever path needs to slot between them.

From the plenum the engine should have come from an MGR, but with that filter housing it definitely wouldn't be from and MG, so not much use really in identifying what it came from. BTW those MG plenum covers are worth a premium to the MG V8 boys, plus you can pick up a replacement rover one for sweet-FA. Sorry, unable to help with the part though!

I have seen that before as part of a proper kit to put a V8 in a series Landie, but I can't recall who the vendor was.

They are rare.

What is wrong with that one?

Yep, I got one of them on my Series 3 to relocate the filter/pump assy away from the front diff as stated.

You can get one from here

Brilliant, what was the price?? do they sell them individually, or do i have to pay for the kit!

Mine came as part of the complete kit, but can`t see why they won`t sell them individually.
