on a chevy V8 in standard spec these are not fitted (well on the three I have stripped any way). They a are sold as an aftermark part and are used on high performance engines with stud mounted rockers. I am fitting shaft mounted rockers and a high lift/long duration mechanical roller cam do I need them
? never seen them fitted to other shaft mounted rocker set ups (rover V8 A series, kent and triumph motorcycle) I would welcome all thoughts on the subject.Best regards
