I noted that there are two different types of power modules which can be used with the Rover V8, the standard silver module, and the black performance module.

Has anyone used both on the same engine, and if so did you notice a difference between the two?

I've only ever used the silver one, but it's now replaced by an MSD Luminition to MSD6A BEI module which retains the optical chopper.
