Facet Petrol pump

Post by Chorlton »

Ive got a Facet petrol pump fitted, vertically.
It doesnt cut out when the sytem is full though.
Should this unit have a pressure switch inside it and cut off automatically?

Its feeding an Edelbrock 1404 ?

Be very carefull as the leg you bite today could be attached to the arse you have to kiss tomorrow.

If its an electric cylindrical type i.e. Red Top, Silver Top, as opposed to the solid state modelsan electronic, then it will just keep ticking away regardless. Always found this re-assuring!

It will keep running, that's how it works. I don't know exactly how. Aint like an old SU pump that stops when the bowls are full.

A seperate inline regulator would be a good investment.
