Piston Ident

Post by TVRTASMIN »

I've just bought a set of used 3.9 pistons with HRC22069A cast into them, with 22059 ZO1 M6 and My stamped on the crown.
Need to know the CR.

Cheers
Ian

The 4.0 piston I have with M6 on them are 9.35/1

But not sure if that's what M6 means.

Didn't you think to ask before you bought them? Can you ask the seller?

To be honest i didn't think to ask prior to purchase, but have sent the seller an email to which i have'nt received a reply yet.

Don't suppose i can complain much for £5.50 the set.

Maybe there is another way to tell which CR the pistons are.
Is there any piston data or dimensions i can check?

Measure the volume with a burette, a picture might even works wonders as they are visibly different between high and low compression.
