water pump help

hi all, i think that i need a smaller water pump as it's a bit... well a lot to long, the v8 is from a range rover classic around '76 ish

are there smaller pumps available for the range rover engine?

Hello Garth,

A Range Rover from 1976,...if the pump you have tried is either from that engine or from and SD1, then to get a much shorter 'nose', go for a pump for a P6B. They have the shortest nose of any water pump for the Rover V8.

The outline of the pump where it meets the timing cover is the same as that for an SD1.

202mph standing mile
