V8s just have that great sound. Small V8 or big V8, they all sound great.

So many people waste their money putting big exhausts or cannons onto 4 or 6 cyclinder cars...and they sound utterly aweful!!!

So many 4 cyinders emulate the sound of a blow fly stuck in a bottle.

A V8 on the other hand....

a turbo straight six can have a mean roar when it's set up with a nice header. log styles just damp it down too much tho.

Love the sound of a v8. I am trying to own and run all engine types available (its a long quest )

I currently have a boxer 4cyl in my impreza and that also sounds nive. A different noise to a normal 4cyl and much nicer than a saxo with a fart can on it. And its also got the power to back up the noise

Just got my V8 started on manifolds only and it sounds awsome. Im going to try and keep it fairly unrestricted so you can hear it coming.

I used to own a V12 xjs.. at full throttle through the bryn-glas tunnels on the M4 it was fantastic.. a little too thirsty for my liking.

I had a V6 ex-plod Omega.. nice enough but a little quit. But it moved ok

Rotary next for me I htink, or a straight 6!
