On a Mission, What to do??
Im aiming for the 11th on May to get the car back on the road, It was initially for a Cortina Show at Billing, bit Ive since found there is a show on at Battlesbridge as weel that weekend and there is the RWYB at the Weald as well, what to do??????, If I take it to the weald I will want to race a fesh engine, and Im not too keen on that idea, Battlesbridge is probably too near the Weald so I may be tempted to have a trip over to the racing, , Im thinking Billing, , its a good long run and will give me a chance to get some miles on the engine, anywhere else to go that weekend????

My new engine only did 10 miles after the initial tune up and I took it to the Pod for a day out with great results on a low shot of gas.
Two weeks later it was back on track and started nipping the 11's with a bit more gas.
I'm out on Monday at the Pod for the last real tuning day before I give it the beans at the weald on the 11th. I cant not go to the Weald as I have a rematch to run with a 55 Zephyr with a Ford 502 in it. Last year he beat me by 1.7 seconds, but I'm going to be able to read his boot badge across the line this time mate.
