tappet bore size

Hello all,

Anyone one know the new tappet bore diameters.

Just checking my 4.6 block for wear.

I know there should be a small clearance, but the manual doesnt say the actual tappet bore diameter.

Dont know whyat the bore should be. But my spare new RV8 lifters measure

8425 thou
21.39mm

Outside diameter.

thanks for that...as i aint got my new lifters yet....i didnt know their new size.

sounds good to me as the lifter bores in the block all measured 21.42mm.....even after a supposed 82k miles.

will do for me...something else i dont have to worry about.
