clutch control

can any one help me with my dilema?
is there a kit to convert the cable clutch in my escort to the hydraulic one or is there a good method to do this all help is really appreciated

IM TRYING TO BUILD A V8 Rover 220 Coupe need all the help i can get really got the engine just want to know what axle i need to use or what would be best

Hi
There are various options, use a concentric slave cylinder set up from Burton or someone similar, one of those "universal" jobbies that sits over the input shaft of the gear box. Or find a slave cylinder that you can mount on the bell housing and link it up to your cable clutch arm, then sort out a master cylinder. I'm afraid as far as I see it it will be a do it yourself set up but far from impossable.

just thinking about it Ian Stewart and Tony both have solved this problem already, it would be worth a search on past posts on this bit of the forum.
