Flapper Inlet manifold water temperature sender

As above, the one on the front left hand side. I have been supplied a 3/8 NPT it starts to screw it then stops. I am thinking its probably 3/8UNF ?

it wont be NPT as none of the threads are, UNC sounds right but I think its larger than 3/8 could be wrong on that though.

After my third trip which is about 120 miles! I know have the correct adaptor and can tell you it is 5/8 UNF. I didn't think any of the threads were NPT but it seems all my sensors for the dials/gauge are !

yes my gauges all came like that as well and I had to use adapters. I couldn't for the life of me remember what size the adapters were though.
