Engine Mounts

Question from my friend in France.
His engine mounting (the steel unit attached to the engine) take the Round Rubber mounts whilst mine take the ones that have the two bolts and two holes.
Are these engine side mounts interchangeable? as on his Kitcar he is unable to modify the mountng that is attacjed to the engine to allow for his steering column.

The bolt holes on the engine haven't changed since day 1. So you can fit any mount to any block.
