Range rover fuel lines/tank

how come the rangy fuel tank has like 3 or 4 returns??

I'm not 100% sure on this one, but when I saw a Range Rover tank (with all the pipes), I assumed it was so it always had a pickup in the fuel nomatter what angle the vehicle was operating at.

nah as theres only 1 exit to the pump so i dont think it would be in aid of that,

the engine only has one in and one out so im confused why it had more than 2 lines anyway?

the vehical is scrap now so cant investigate.

so just block them all up other than the main fuel out and return!
