Spark plugs

Just attempting to get my car, TVR 390, running with MS controling the sparks(wasted spark with ford coils) and fuel. It was recomended, to me, that I change to resisted spark plugs At the moment it has NGK B7ECS. I think that BR7ES is the resisted equivalent. Can anyone confirm this, or point me in the right direction? Also why is this nescessary?
