Hey guys.
I finally found a 4.6 to swap into my Classic. It is a 97 4.6 out of a RR.
Now I have torn it down and check all the clearances; it looks like I can just polish the crank go with std Main and rod bearings. No problem here these are cheap.
I need to replace the cam to the old type for the dizzy I’m thinking of going with the Crower cam 50229 I believe this is correct. For lifters can I use the old school Buick ones in the range rover block part # 66050-16? Anyone use this cam with stock replacement springs?
Also I need the crank spacer so I can use the old v-belt pulley system anyone know how I can find one or specs to make one?
Thanks,
Looking for 4.6 rebuild info

If you mean a spacer that goes on the end of the crank after the damper wheel so that nut can actually tighten down against something then I've just bought one from V8Tuner. It was 7 quid.Ranger jim wrote:

Thanks,

EDIT...I see that you are in the US, I guess the postage will cost a bit! I'll measure mine up when I get home and post up the dimensions.
