Fuel Injection Pump

Just converting my landrover 90 to fuel injection and was wandering has anyone got any advice on fuel pumps? Currently have a stainless tank so do not want to change it, but if possible would like the pump in the tank. Have heard that an early 3.5 EFI Range rover pump will fit if the discharge pipe is lenghthened, can anybody confirm this?
The engine is a 4.2 rolling roaded at 272 bhp before some su's were put on to get it going after being put in the 90.
