Any idea how much this would all be worth? Highpower Nitrous

Post by IainB »

Season Greetings to one and all :D

Quick question, any idea how much the following would be worth?

2 polished aluminium (I think!) 11lb bottles (UK Spec)
2 sets of 150bhp Highpower/Noswizard pulsoids (so good to 300bhp - or 500bhp if trev upgrades them!) had intended to use all 4 on a Spider
2 sets of injectors - 1 normal, 1 crossfire
1 race Maximiser (the previous style - not the latest one)
1 Bottle warmer
1 billet bottle holder (think of it as a 8 style one (looking down) - more for connecting both bottles together....as there is only 1 of them. I had intended in running the bottles inverted without dip tubes anyway)
Various bits of pipework!!
1 bottle fill kit (from a BIG bottle to the smaller 11lb ones)

It will need some proper bottle mounts (if your not going custom install), more pipework to suit your car and a relay for the bottle warmer.

Also potentially have 2 black top holley pumps, 1 as new, 1 with minimal usage - suitable for petrol and methanol both with regulators.

So...any ideas of how much it would all be worth as one going concern, looks like I may need to raise some money and this is 'spare' without having to break into anything chassis/engine related (and slowly gathering parts after selling everything 2 years ago....I dont really want to do that again!)

Thanks

From my experience of selling nitrous gear, put it all separately on ebay - you'll get twice as much as for a job lot, if not more.

I'd be interested in the bottle warmer, and maybe the crossfires if there are 8 . . . .

Mmmm cake  Sold to the man in the Cortina!! (Marketing have had a 'cook off' here and following 10 hours of drinking yesterday...Bananna Cake may not have been the best idea...P*rn Stars go down well though...the cocktail unfortunatley! just not as nice the day after  )

I will sort some pics out over the weekend (if my hangover from hell subsides!) and just to confirm they are WON pulsoids (currently at 150bhp)

Im going to risk trying the complete lot on E-Bay as someone has currently got another system (albeit without a Maximiser) for £400 - whilst this isnt as complete (needs some more pipe / olives etc) I also have the additional bottle + solenoids + race maximiser, and people 'may' want to spend xmas money  (hopefully)

This is what I have currently anyway

Jeez louise...just had a quickrun through the cost to but new from Highpower....including VAT this comes out too.....£1961

Now on E-Bay but mentally worked out (whilst washing up!!) that this is probably worth more as 2 seperate kits with the Maximiser, bottle filler and bottle warmer sold seperate....doh!!!
(£225/250 per kit, Maximiser £150/175 (maybe more) bottle filler + warmer £50'ish?? = £650 using the lower scale)
