I assume you know about the rod markings and the correct way to locate the rods because that's not really been mentioned on this thread.
Also if the pistons weren't removed, you'd see the markings pointing the wrong way. Sounds like the yts apprentice did the rebuild if they still have those! With a bit of luck no major damage has been done.
ARRRGH - Has anyone come up against this?
