Fuel Tank Mounting

Post by cimoss »

Hi, need to mount my 600 x 300 fuel tank, I want to place something under it to act as sound deadening, was thinking of a sheet of closed cell foam about 20mm thick, any ideas where I can get this from or any other alternative product....cheers Chris

My fuel tank fabricator told me to strap not bolt the tank the the chassis - which prevents the tank cracking as things move around.

If you're doing it on the cheap, you could use strips of old rubber car mats :?
