V8 Capri.. help

Post by JT »

Hi there,

I have a MKII capri currently fitted with a 230hp 2L turbo. Goes great.

But I'm in love with the sound of a V8.. want it gotta have it.

So selling my setup and looking for a kit to fit a Ford Windsor 289 V8.

Does anyone know of any kits available and what will be involved with this conversion? especially regardsing the trans tunnel.

Cheers guys.

Magnum Engineering do them to order

http://www.magnum-engineering.com/SVServRep/index.htm

I'm fairly sure they are run by the same people tha used to be Auto Power Services so the work will need to be checked to make sure that it is 100% OK

C4 wouldnt think so C6 dont know and FMX yes as its a big old box. I tried one in a Sierra and it wouldn't fit without mods.
