Los tres Amigos on tour

Post by kev_the_mole »

This Sunday was the first opportunity to get the three UK V8 Healeys together, along with some friends

the friends as well

The good news from the day was I got 28mpg over 120 miles; the bad news was burning rubber smells and the engine sounding like a sack of spanners being rattled on the way back. Nothing was awry on the gauges so I continued home and there discovered that the absolutely brand new alternator had lunched its front bearing and then lunched itself. Happy days!

What a disgustingly iresponsable contribution to green house gas emisions, you all should go and stand in the naughty corner imediatly, then fit bio deisel fuled Hybrid power units of no more than 750cc and use public transport whenever you have to travel :?
I can't possably condone this behavior.

Yup the windscreen is meant to do that. It gets you about 5mph better top speed but mucho bugs in teeth.
