Adapter for TH700R4 to Borg Warner or LT230?

Post by Kano »

Anyone knows where I can get an adapter to mate a TH700R4 to a Rangie's Borg Warner? Or LT230, also have one of these somewhere...

Have a brand new 6.5 AM General with TH700, and just HAVE to fit it in my Range Rover! You may know the feeling...

Thanks!

Philip

All the information you need can be found on my site:

http://www.mez.co.uk/gearboxfaq.html

The 700r4 isn't the toughtest of boxes, even after spending thousands on high-end race internals. A the very least fit a TRANSGO shift kit, which will firm things up and make it last a bit longer (dont use any other brand of shift kit, esp B&M)

I'm working on a 4l80e conversion right now:
http://www.mez.co.uk/4l80e.html#4l80conversion
which should give you an idea how to mate the 700r4.

Sorry, I dont offer conversions.

Eliot, thanks.

The TH has been extensively rebuilt and strengthened in Sweden, and should be OK for a while.

As for the adapter, I could design and build one myself, but I just don't have the time... A 50 pages passport lasts me 3 years before to be full, so I usually have to find ready-made items, or get them made on order!

Any idea where I can get a bolt-on adapter?
