Plumbing Question

Hi all,
Little back story first - I installed a rover 3.5 into my MGB and tried to connect the pollution gear up as per the MGB ( excluding the CO2 pump) and feeding it into the back of the Carbie. Unfortunately, I could not get a low idle and frustratingly ended up blocking that pipe. This worked well ( with the idle) but I think this caused a pressure build-up causing a little oil to weep from the back of the left-side rocker cover ( BTW I don't know if this makes any difference but I swapped the 2 covers around).

My question - Can I just do away with all this and install 2 air filters in the top of the rocker covers and do I need some sort of PCV? Any help or kindly advice would be greatly appreciated. As I am a visual learner, any photos and or sketches of appropriate plumbing would also be great.

Thanks,
Peter

Good morning

That picture looks like a single 4 barrel carb.

If this is the is the case I believe that the ports on the carb are not meant for this extraction work.

The more usual venting point is to the base of the air filter
