New to this forum and looking for some advice please?
I’ve got a Land Rover Discovery 2 with the usual overheat issue with the 4.0 v8.
Looking at various posts on here regarding taking this opportunity to fit a 4.6 makes interesting reading as I have the possibility of getting a low mileage 4.6.
However, it does look like the ecu needs attention which poses a question;
If I was to buy a 4.6 AND the ecu that goes with it would that resolve any resetting issues with changing from the 4.0 to the 4.6?
Ie, would it be “as simple” as fitting 4.6, then its ecu, then all good?
