Lt77 clutch fork off

Post by Clyde Archibald »

Has anyone managed to get a clutch fork re-engaged...after disturbing its postion...slipper pads have come off release bearing carrier....
Trying to rack my brain to avoid box removal.
Thanks in advance.Chris

Yes, it was a longshot...if you had childs hands and 4 mirrors etc.
So ive pulled the box and its tricky enough to do even with two hands free and unobstructed.....access
It's all good info...I know now why holes get cut in bell housing....
Time to upgrade to LOF clutch , new ring gear, test box oil pump output.
Cheers

I'm glad you got it sorted, even if you had to take the long road.
