Yearly update
Made rear strut brace

Rear callipers fitted

Cossy drive shafts were too long and had to get a shorter pair made

Fitted new door wire grommets

Glass and door innards in

Loom is a bit of a mess and it taking me far too long to sort out....

Got pi$$ed off with wiring and started on bulkhead panel

More pics to follow if this worked

Heater blower refurbed

Headlights fitted

Fitting out under bonnet

Now back to the wiring, which is major boring $hit for me and is taking too long due to a lack of enthusiasm

Great work Mark. Keep it up.
A question. Way back in your post you showed your first attempt at the gearbox mount. (The steel one). In the photo there is a black item attached to the gearbox, driver side. What is it?
Just aside, I'm amazed at the way Sierra parts prices heve zoomed up recently. Probably aimed at the Cossie restoration guys.

I think you're looking at part of the gearbox rubber mount, I got the gearbox and mount from a guy called Will Riley who bought all of the Rover stuff when they went bust - £800 for a new T56 seams cheap now as clapped out old T5's go for over a grand now

I paid £500 for the rolling shell with 2WD Cosworth running gear back then, prices are plain crazy now for parts.

Prices have zoomed. I paid £1800 for a new T56 about 2 years ago.
