Timo,
As a matter of interest how much are Eales fully worked best performing heads?

I haven't seen the dyno graphs yet but should be getting them on Monday.
The injector proved to be OK so not sure what was causing the problem as it seems oK now.

Cheers
Mark

Right. Must admit to not having come across an intermittent injector.
Are you using sequential injection? That would mean the ECU has one driver per injector. An intermittent fault (dry joint, etc) is more likely there. Or, of course, a problem with the wiring or connectors.
But wouldn't an ignition fault give the same symptoms?

The injector was tested and proved to be OK. re fitted then ran fine.
I have had this problem for some time Nearly everything has been replaced except the ECU and wiring.
Lloyds have kindly offered to fit a new ECU to eliminate that.

I don't know your ECU, but I'd have thought most would offer logging of some sort? Which might just show where the problem is - if you are logging when the fault occurs. To save using the shotgun approach. :D

The Canems ECU is quite basic I think It does have logging but looks pretty poor to me. In hind sight I should have gone for DTA or similar.
That's why I sent the car to the Rolling road, for the experts to diagnose and fix it. Wether it is fixed or will happen again we will have to see.

Had a quick look at the Canems site and it appears to offer only semi sequential injection on a four cylinder. Which would suggest to me it has only two injection drivers. So on an 8 cylinder, that would mean four injectors being driven by each driver. So if just one injector was giving problems, it would suggest either that injector is faulty, or the wiring to it, rather than an ECU problem. Sadly, they don't seem to make their ECU schematics available, so it is just a guess.

Ah - right. But that would still mean two injectors per driver, so the same would apply.

I drove the car for the first time today. Obviously I couldn't use all the performance on the road. Feels very good apart from cruising when I get the occasional momentary stumble.
There must be somebody out there that can sort out my continual running problems.
it will be awesome on track.

Thanks to Lloyds the car is now running perfectly. The engine will pull cleanly in 4th gear from 35mph with afr spot on.
Above 4000rpm all hell brakes loose and it needs a lot of respect.
Still waiting for Circuit motors to email me the graphs. Will chase them up jet again.

Yes Perry, I will have to be a bit more careful feeding the power in coming out of the corners!

I now have the Dyno graph but it is in PDF format and my scanner/ printer is not working. how can I post it?
