Post by Blown v8 »

I want to get my new TA heads O ringed before I put them on,
Who do you guys recommend ?
I've used real steel before, and my last set was done by DJE,(who I can't find contact details for)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm just about to get my O rings removed so I can ditch the comp gaskets and go back to Cometic MLS gaskets on flat heads.

I have tried copper gaskets with and without O ringed heads and they dont work for me ?

Why do you want to O ring your heads? Are you running high CR or Boost etc? Before I got I had fitted with copper gasket adhesive and they worked quite well ?

With my old heads I had sealing issues, once they were O ringed, the trouble did go away !
At present with the new blower,I'm running 10lb of boost,it's 12% under driven, the plan is to up the boost to about 15lb

Does 10-15lbs of boost require o-ringed heads - I thought it was for much higher pressures?
