KMS problems

An SD1 club member has an SD1 with KMS engine management, which has problems. He's spent a fortune trying to get it sorted. Any recommendations for an expert in the SE of England?

What are the problems ?

Only ever spoke to one guy who had used the KMS stuff...he didnt rate it at all.

Can't imagine there will be many users in the UK.

Not running properly.

I'd guess if I spent some time on it I might be able to work it out. But since it's not mine, it would be simpler to go to someone who already knows it.

Don't think he's into any form of DIY with it. He wants it sorted if possible. The makers did give him a contact, but they are miles away and don't seem to want to give any guarantees that they can fix it.

His garage are suggesting they source a used engine with hotwire system and fit that. Which seems madness to me.
