Does anyone have a good suggestion for a jet set up for my Eddie 500 on a 4.6. It is currently set up for my 3.5 Vitesse motor.

A few clever bods on the Cobra forum say it will need re-jetting.

But I have no clue where to even start. I am going to buy a book I have been advised to get, but would be good to get it first hand.

Nice work on the manifold Mark, you opened it right up like I said, only thing you could really improve is radiusing the 'narrower' side for better flow. By using an open 2" spacer you are effectively using it as a single plane 360 manifold (to use it as a 180 dual plane you add a spacer plate to seperate the 2 sides - gives you better torque/throttle response) I used Edelbrock 1486 (I think) jet, spring & metering rod kit and experimented, unfortunately without stripping my Edelbrock carb down I can't remember which ones I settled on

I thought by adding the dividing plate it would keep it as a 180?

Have I got it wrong then?
