Solid axle to Independent rear end

Post by MAZVER »

Am going to be undertaking a independent rear end installation in my old mazda b1600 ute. Just wondering if any of you would be interested in seeing progress photo's and a thread on it.....

Pics are always good. Buildup threads are even better. :D

What axle are you planning to use?

Going to use a nissan rear end as they as parts for them here are readily available and i can buy a full rear end for around $250NZD. Can also get all adjustible arms for them easily. Hopefully pick one up by the weekend. Having a look at a S13 silvia subframe along with diff, axles, hubs, brakes next couple of days. Going to convert the hubs to six stud so that i can keep the wheels i have aswell. Will start posting picks as soon as i get into it. Should be a bita fun!! :D
