V8 Triker and Biker in Belfast

Post by belfastdrennan »

Hi Guys
Just surfin' the web and found 'The V8 Owners Forum'. Had to join. 8-)

My first V8 was in the late '70's, a 1963 Mercury Park Lane (like a gigantic Ford Consul Classic with the reverse slope rear window). I was into bikes and American cars, particularly 'muscle cars', and have been thru a crazy amount of each. My 'garage' at the minute contains the following V8's:

V8 Cars
1987 Dax Cobra 3.6 Rover V8, raced up nicely to 250+bhp
1992 Mercedes 500SE V8, 300bhp
1981 Excalibur Phaeton, V8 Chevy 250bhp (1936 Mercedes SSK styling)
1963 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, V8 Chevy 300bhp

V8 Custom Trikes
'Phantasm', 5.0 ltr TVR V8, 300bhp
Iron Horse, 5.7 Chevy V8, 350bhp
'Scary Mary', 8.2 Big Block Chevy V8, 650bhp (before a 2-stage NOS kick)

V8 Custom Bikes
'Wild One' 5.7 ltr 300bhp Chevy V8 (HD Fatboy lookalike)
'Too Wild' 5.7 ltr 400bhp Chevy V8 Chopper (HD WideGlide lookalike)
'SnakeBite' 5.7 ltr 350bhp Chevy V8 Boss Hoss (factory built bike)

Santa just brought me 2 registration plates: V8 HOG and V8CHOP.
Who's a lucky boy then!
I intend to be out this year attending bike & trike shows in Ireland, as well as a couple in England.

I'll post some pics of my more interesting toys when I figure out how.
I've noticed another V8 Trike, and a Reliant based Trike on this site, but us Trikers & Bikers seem to be rather thin on the ground on this site!
