would suggest discussing with a prop supplier, Bailey Morris in St Neots offer a superb service and good value, just had one made by them. Look for an old prop from an SD1 / P5 this will give the correct fitment to the gearbox with the slipper joint, then it can be adjusted for length and the correc...

Hi, refitting my lobro joints, how much black cv grease should be packed into them? I'm not renewing the boots as these are in perfect condition so I don't have the new packet of grease.....should the boot have any grease in it?....

Hi there, the clutch will be the standard 9 1/2 ", for a cheaper option you can use the drive plate from the 110 landrover as it is the same spline count and diameter....

Fuel Tank Mounting

Hi, need to mount my 600 x 300 fuel tank, I want to place something under it to act as sound deadening, was thinking of a sheet of closed cell foam about 20mm thick, any ideas where I can get this from or any other alternative product....cheers Chris

Mounting my facet silver top fuel pump is there any specific requirement as to the orientation of the pump. The ideal place to mount it would mean that the inlet/outlets are pointing down which would suggest that air would not be able to be purged from the system. I do have the option of being able ...

Ian....cheers for the feedback.....I put header/expansion as was not sure which to use, I guess header tank would be the best way to go..... On a header tank if pressure builds above the cap PSI rating does this simply spew the coolant out or would there normally ba some form of plumbing to vent the...

probabaly a boring cooling system question!!

Have searched for this info but can not seem to get a definative answer on it as there seem to be many different options.....building a kit car at the moment RV8 3.5 no special mods apart for slightly hotter cam, am at the stage of plumbing in the cooling system and need advice on a header/expansion...
