Just found this writen by Mark Adams! There are two families of Lucas 14CUX ECUs. Before you place your order we need to check which type you have, so please contact us first. All original TVR supplied ECUs have "plug-in" chips, with the appropriate socket fitted. If the ECU is not origina...

Does anyone offer the service of changing a 14CUX from one that doesn't accept a new chip into one that does?

Cheers

5L TVR ECU in 14CUX on a 4.6 V8???

Would a Rover 4.6 V8 work with a 14CUX Hotwire injection system, with a TVR 5L ECU (14CUX) on it? It would be used for off-road racing so we'd need lots of power and fuel, but would it be too much? Anyone tried it? Want to go down the MS route but also wanting a backup / something to get us started ...

Anyone know how to setup SU's in the Midlands?

Hi there,

We are running a V8 Comp Safari racer and are currently looking to setup the 2 SU Carb's on it, so are looking for someone or Company Midlands based for assistance.

If you are willing to help or know someone who is, please can you contact me.

Cheers!

From a financial point of view i'm thinking it would be a lot cheaper to referb the SU's and not be spending £500 on a Weber.

What would I need to do the the Carbs? New needles? If so, how do i match them to the engine?

Cheers

4.6 V8 Carbs - Help Needed

Hi all, Just put a 4.6 V8 in a Comp Safari racer but not sure what to do with the Carb side. We put 2 SU's on it from a 3.5 SD1 and it ran really very badly! No go at all. What needs to be done to the Carbs to make it run with a 4.6 V8? How do you set them up? What other options are there? Cheers!
