problem solved, it was the spigot bush it was worn by a good 2mm and oval.

pulls from tickover with a hefty kick up the arse when the 2nd barrels open, but in a car weighing 600kg. the holley was ok on the mid range but leaned out on higher rpm

Had my 3.5 v8 dyno'd again today with the new eddy 500 carb i fitted in place of the holley 390 well pleased with the result! 200hp at the wheels up 24hp on last time and afr was good too. I don't really know whats been done to this engine other than a cam but its a serous increase over the standard...

Has anyone encountered this problem? when i push the clutch pedal occasionally i get a horrible screeching sound it used to only happen when i was at very low speed or stationary i.e parking etc but now between gear changes as well The gearbox is recon the clutch and release bearing are also new and...

I need to remove the pas pump from a 3.9 serp engine to fit it in to my westfield, is there a pulley that can be bought to go in its place? if so where do i look? a quick look at the usual places threw nothing up..
