Which RV8 choose?
I can buy defender 3.5 engine, but 130hp is not much i think .Which way would be better/cheaper? Skimming the heads to make them about 9.75:1CR / Bolt the range rover 3.9 heads / or just forget about 3.5 and get 3.9 with guaranteed 180 hp. Other ideas? In my region sources of parts are only defender...

thanks but i already know that in my case its better to modify RV8 4x4BH and mate it to some strong but popular in scrapyard gearbox, and the question is not how to make it work, but is it strong enough and which gearset is better? I want to have 2wd and i can buy cheaply strong type9 sierra4x4 gear...

mt75 or type 9
Which one would better work with 3.5 rover v8? I know that some type 9 was heavy duty with 3,36:1 first gear ratio, mt75 first gear ratio can be 3,61 and they are very easy to find in opposite to HD type9. What should I choose?
