Hi, & thanks for all the info guys.. Unfortunately the saga continues.. Tried to get a new set of rockers from Real steel but they're out of stock & told me that because of poor quality parts they now have them made especially for them, but aren't expecting any to be delivered anytime soon.....

Hi Jeff, I agree it doesn't seem right that the pressure should continue to climb, guess I'd better remove the valve to check its not suck, do you know if the pump will still self prime if I remove it? As to the valve guide oil seals, I wish now I'd used the later heads but don't want to tear it all...
