Thanks for the reply. The vehicle is never likely to see a junction, only a Welsh logging track! The 6 pin connector was previously wired to an ignition 12volt but clearly this was not correct. The engine has never stalled but does have an unsettled high idle (revs will sit at 1500rpm but roughly ev...

14CUX PIN 6 Speed Transducer Input?
Evening all I have a 14CUX ECU on my 3.9 Rover V8. I’ve had to do a little rewiring and have come a cropper. I have a yellow wire leading to the ECU plug which I have traced to be pin 6 (Speed transducer). After doing some research I’ve worked out this is a variable voltage pulse signal to the ECU. ...

Ford 351 Windsor v8
Hi everyone A very novice question but how much power/torque should I be excepting from a standard ford 351 Windsor V8. I am planning on taking both the engine and box out of a 3rd generation ford Econoline. Could anyone also tell me how the 351 Windsor compares to the Chevy 350 for spares and relia...

Thanks for the reply I had a chat to real steel and he seemed to suggest that there is a high demand for 350’s. As I have already suggested on this board he aggress that the cheapest option would probably be to locate a complete vehicle with the correct block and box in. It seems that most Chevy car...

Just a bit of an intro to why I am looking for one (if your questioning) I’ve got a Mercedes 404 Unimog. It currently has a standard 2.2 L straight 6 which although is a very sweet engine it simply doesn’t give enough output for the vehicle its in (being that it creates 80bhp and My 404 weighs 2.7)....

Chevy 350
Very quick question Does anyone know the best place to find a turn the key used Chevy 350 Small Block? I am looking at doing a completely new rear engine setup with my vehicle so need all the ancillaries as well. I’ve had a look on eBay over the past few weeks and haven’t found anything particularly...
