hydraulic clutch slave cylinder bellhousing problem?

Post by nimmo »

was looking to get the hydraulic clutch parts for my project i have the rr 3.5 v8 with an sd1 manual box and bellhousing i was looking at the sd1 hydraulic clutch parts on rimmers upon looking at the slave cylinder and it apears to look as though it goes straight through the bellhousing with a straight push rod the hole on my bellhousing is on the underside so therefor not in line with the hole on the fork, do i have to modify the bellhousing or is there a part that is made to fit this?

It all should line up. (give or take!) Standing at the front of the engine the slave cylinder should be fitted on the lower left hand side of the bellhousing.

You will need the slave cylinder, pushrod (straight), release arm and pivot all from the SD1.

If you post a photo it might help see what's wrong.
