Hi All
I've just joined this site as all my google searchs keep coming back here!!
So Hopefully someone may have the information i'm looking for!
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
I'm currenlty rebuilding a Simmbugghini a rear engined off road racing car,
My problem lies with location of the engine with a landrover bell housing.
My question is could a rwd bellhousing and input shaft be fitted to a 4wd gearbox?
Where the engine is currently sitting the rear axle will hit the front pulley when it comes up on the bump stops, to move it back closer the front, the rear prop will be very long and the front very short!
If i were to have a 2wd bellhousing input shaft etc the engine and gearbox will be more in the middle making it all work better.
Any help will be great and if anyone one has one for sale all the better!
Many thanks
Rob
