302 V8 EFI - Carb Swap - Dizzy help

Hi guys,

I have a 302V8 with EFI from a 1989 Mustang.

The engine is going into a gasser project so I want to remove the EFI and put a carb on.

TH inlet and carb are fine but what can I do with teh distributor? I've heard somewhere that I can change to a pre EFI dizzy out of a 302 but I would need to change the drive gear from bronze to steel.

Any one have any more information on the swap?
