Probably a common question - EXP16A?

Post by HughN »

This is probably been asked a million times before, but I can't find an answer so I am being repetitive please bear with me bear with me.

The Rover Overhaul manual refers to "EXP16A (Marston Lubricants)" for things like the main bearing caps - what is it, or what is an equivalent of it that is readily available?

No doubt it is distilled from the dew-covered wings of the first fairies of spring, collected by maidens as the sun strikes the fifth upright from the left at Stonehenge - i.e., it costs a fortune. Why do manuals never call for old chip fat or papier-maché!

Thanks
Hugh
