Any point to using my fuel swirl pot with carbs?

Firstly.... sorry for the huge number of posts I am creating... I am just curious!
However that only applies to V8s.... just incase anyone asks.
I have aquired a very nice little fuel swirl pot amongst otherthings recently. I know they are normally for EFI as carbs have a fuel bowl, but it seems such a shame not to use it!
Would there be any advantages to using it or would it be completely pointless? I'll be running quad dell'ortos and will also be off roading (ie. quite a bit of tank slosh and angles up to 45 deg). Also I am planning on using a Carter rotary pump.
