efi swap

hi folks great looking site, a quick question reguarding efi Is it possible to remove a job lot efi system from say a scrap motor and graft it to another motor? v8 of course. has anyone done it?


i'd have gotten away with it if it was'nt for them pestering kids....

if its the same engine say rover v8 to rover v8 (doesnt matter if other one was injected) generally yes. Post the engine your thinking about too and from and we can give you a more accurate idea.

Very possible.
The earlier the EFi system, the easier it is, but on the other hand the parts will be older and potentially less reliable.

Thanks for the replys folks, i want to inject a 350 chevy the donor motor is a grey area though, iam going to fit a blower on the motor next winter so i hope to fit the efi at the same time. Half the reason for the transplant idea is to save money, the other half probably madness.,
