air intake

as you can see there's not a lot of room for a air box , i was wondering if fitting a long hose of the same diameter as the as the mixer/AFM would help breathing ?

Apparently extending the length of the inlet tract does help to boost power.
Have a look at this...

That tells you that there's much more science to an inlet tract than meets the eye.

I always think that engine / car designers do actually know what they are doing!

very good , cheeky bugger nicking my bodge i use plastic gutter fittings , they fit perfectly but not quite that long
