Help. Pics Needed

My Hotwire plenum had a load of cruise-control gubbins that was getting in the way of my intake hose so I removed it all.
Could someone possibly show me some pics of the simplest possible throttle cable setup with least amount of parts?
Thanks.

Could be that removing the cruise control should leave the throttle working normally? It does on my SD1.

No. On removing the bulky cruise gubbins it also removed the throttle assy as well. It seemed to be 1 unit. That's why I was asking for some pics so I could see if I've done something wrong..

Well, bits from an SD1 EFI will fit your plenum. The usual cable from there to the pedal. Or the bits from a hotwire without cruise?
I've not really seen a hotwire cruise. On the SD1 EFI, the cruise motor simply unclips from the throttle lever.

My P38's cruise is the old fashioned bellows and cable set-up with a vacuum pump instead of manifold supply to improve control.

Yup - sounds like the Hella system fitted to later SD1.

About half way down this page,
http://www.cowdery.org.uk/miscv8.php is a few pictures of the GEMS manifold, one from an SD1 and the later 4.6 one.

John that looks like a nice compact setup compared to mine. Are those standard sd1 parts?

They might have been range/land rover parts if it makes a difference ? but it was just trimmed to suit a few plates added for cable holes, I was running auto and needed a kickdown position too
